New updates for Honda Civic model Year 2027

Honda Ireland has announced a series of enhancements to the Honda Civic range, including the introduction of the new “Sport” grade and the debut of S+ Shift technology on a mainstream Honda model. The latest updates also bring refreshed interior styling, upgraded equipment specifications and an expanded range of exterior colours.

Civic Sport

These latest enhancements are featured on the newest addition to the Civic range, the Civic Sport, which is now available with new pricing from €43,750. Designed to deliver a more dynamic driving experience while retaining the Civic's renowned efficiency and practicality, the Sport grade combines distinctive styling with a comprehensive specification. Standard features include a 9-inch Honda CONNECT touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, striking 18-inch gloss black alloy wheels, and the latest suite of Honda SENSING safety and driver assistance technologies. The cabin is further enhanced by a heated leather steering wheel, privacy glass, and exclusive Sport-inspired interior detailing, creating a more premium and engaging environment for both driver and passengers. 12 Bose speakers ensure a quality audio experience on every journey. With its athletic design, enhanced equipment levels, and advanced hybrid powertrain, the Civic Sport offers customers an appealing combination of performance, comfort, technology, and everyday usability.

Interior Changes

The interior updates are primarily focused on the Civic Sport grade, further enhancing its sporty and premium appeal. These revisions include red stitching on the front seats while retaining the existing Sport seat upholstery material, red stitching on the centre armrest and front and rear armrests, and distinctive red accents surrounding the air vents. Together, these enhancements create a more dynamic and cohesive cabin design, reinforcing the Civic Sport's athletic character while elevating the overall interior quality.

S+ Shift

Simulating the sound, feel and driver engagement of quick automatic gear changes, Honda S+ Shift helps the Civic deliver a new dimension in exhilarating driving pleasure. S+ Shift technology in the Civic aims to maximise the synchronisation between driver input and vehicle response, delivering a driving experience that adapts to the driver’s input and style, allowing for a more connected and enjoyable experience behind the wheel. S+ Shift is a further enhancement to the Linear Shift Control that synchronises vehicle speed with engine sound, which has been installed in the e:HEV system since its launch in 2020.

Drive Modes

The drive modes in the Civic have been specifically tailored to give customers the ability to alter the driving experience to suit both driver preferences and varying road conditions. The Civic offers three distinct Drive Modes, each designed to deliver a different driving character. These modes adjust various elements of the vehicle, including the powertrain, steering, suspension, engine sound, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) profile, and the graphics on the driver information interface. In addition, by holding down the Drive Mode switch or via the infotainment screen, drivers can access the individual mode, which allows them to set their own preferences.

Colour Updates

In addition to the latest product enhancements, the Civic's exterior colour range has been refreshed with the introduction of Meteoroid Grey Metallic, offering customers an elegant and contemporary new option. The updated colour palette now comprises Platinum White Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl, Premium Crystal Red Metallic, Seabed Blue Pearl, and the newly introduced Meteoroid Grey Metallic. This expanded selection provides customers with a wider choice of finishes, each designed to complement the Civic's sleek, sporty design and distinctive road presence.
