Your warranty will be honoured in most European countries as stated in the warranty conditions. But be aware of the following recommendations:
1. Ensure that your car is thoroughly serviced at your Honda Outlet prior to your trip.
2. Pay particular attention to periodic checks, as you may cover many miles at high speed with a heavier than normal load.
3. It is strongly advised that adequate travel insurance is obtained to cover unforeseen circumstances. Please consult your insurers or any motoring organisation.
4. Some European countries have legal requirements regarding certain “touring accessories”. Please check this with your Honda Outlet before making your journey. Honda provides a range of accessories available from your Authorised Honda Outlet.
5. It is important that you take this service book (and your owners card) with you. It is your proof that your car is covered by warranty and that services have been carried out.
6. We recommend that whilst travelling abroad only warranty repairs of an emergency or safety related nature are dealt with and others are referred to your local Authorised Honda Outlet on return.
Like all cars, your Honda needs regular maintenance to ensure its reliability and durability. It can also reduce the cost of running your car, in the long term. Servicing should be carried out at the time of mileage indicated in the relevant schedule. All necessary maintenance and servicing during the Warranty period must be carried out in accordance with the standards and specifications of Honda which can be found in the service reminder card.
We recommend that all service work is carried out by an Authorised Honda Outlet. And don’t forget to bring this booklet along with you so this can be updated each time. We’ll look after the servicing and technical maintenance.
All this information and advice can also be found in your Owner’s Manual.
